Comment: The 3600 dwt steamship Raimo-Ragnar was 84 meters long and sank on 25th December 1943 during the war. It was carrying a cargo of wood from Boistö harbour destination Danzing. It was heading a large convoy using a newly opened secret wartime un-mined route, which had not been properly surveyed. The ship hit a previously unknown underwater rock near Nygrund and stuck on top of the rock. The entire crew was rescued but salvaging the ship failed, so it sank on the next day to the bottom of the sea, sliding down the steep underwater hill. The wreck is now badly broken into 3 major sections resting along the hill between 10 and 33 meters of depth. The cargo is all over the underwater hill. Location: 60° 09.530' N , 25° 56.970' E
