2019-12-08 dive 2, Kuramathi kandu
Voyager arrived to Rashdoo atoll just before noon and we had a quick briefing. Then to dhoni and to the divesite. It was the channel between Rashdoo island and the Kuramathi resort. I some Nitrox now in the tank, but it was only 25% being topped over half tank of air. The bubbling continued, although I has complained about it to Chris, nothing had been done to the valves.
Current was from NE so we jumped to water at Rashdoo end and then with current drifted towards Kuramathi. Quite mild current and it kept changing direction being at sometimes against us. We were guided by Nannu, Nick my buddy, Annie & Tom the 2nd pair. We saw many sharks and some big fishes but nothing came really close so I did not get very good pictures. Light was very gray, most of the time we were pretty far from reef or bottom was some 10 to 20 meters below us. We stayed long at 25 m, and then my no-deco time was starting run out, had to ascend gradually. After 40 min Tom and Annie were low on air so they surfaced, me and Nick continued, then eventually we had to surface also as 60 min dive time was approaching and no-deco time running out.
After the dive shower and lunch. After lunch there was some sunshine so I went to the sundeck.
