Tornator I weekend diving trip 14-16 September 2018 of Kupla diving Club.
On this weekend trip we had from our club: me, TT, Vode, Liisa, Tero, Mikko Ky, Mikko Ko, Karo. In addition two divers from Hämeenlinna: Harri, Jarkko.
We had 4 CCR divers in total.
We drove with TT from Otaniemi with my car to the harbour of Kallioniemi. Started at 16:00 and arrived 19:30.
Unloaded the car and then had hamburgers at Kallioniemi bar.
Then sauna at the boat.
Slept at the harbour over night.
Saturday morning ate breakfast at harbour and the boat sailed to Iso Kirnusaari.
Dive #1 of the trip was to the two wrecks at Iso Kirnusaari: Maria and VR17.
I had dived these twice on the previous Tornator trip last year.
Me, TT and Vode dove as a team, we all had EAN32.
Went down the buoy to the first wreck at 17 m, then continued down to the next wreck which is at 30.
Below 10 m it is totally dark. We dove around both the wrecks and then after 25 min headed back to the boat along the bottom, finding eventually the cliff, adn then back to the boat.
Visibility was OK but it was dark down there.
I took some pictures with my Olympus TG-5.
After the dive, Liisa and Karo made us some lunch. Karo had found mushrooms from the island.
