Dive 8/8 (the last) of the Utö 2020 camp.
The very last dive for me at this camp and for most of the others too.
We decided to see the Tukkiproomu wreck because visibility there was unusually good for the site.
I dove again with Jari K. and we did some penetration and swim through as well.
This site is our usual beginner P1-level site, so for that reason we almost never do penetration. But now all we had left were experienced wreck divers and so for the first time I got to penetrate this wreck. It was quite interesting and this became a long 60 min dive. It is very shallow so we could make this long dive on air.
Again I had my camera rig and took stills and video.
It was a nice last dive.
After this I packed all my gear, and got transported to the main island with Eero, Joonas and Jari.
We waited for the ferry Baldur to arrive at 11 PM, and then carried all our stuff to the cargo hold. The ferry would leave next morning at 8 AM to mainland.
I was the only one staying at the hotel, paying 100 EUR a night to sleep in a real bed between sheets, after one week in a tent and sleeping bag over the rocks.
The other guys wanted to save money, so they slept at a waiting hut outdoors next to the ferry pier.
I had a good night's sleep at the hotel and a good breakfast. The at 8 AM the ferry departed Utö in heavy rain. We arrived to Pärnäs terminal at nauvo Island and packed up the cars. The plan was that I would drive my car to Hanko, and Eero would drive Antti's car there. Then we left Antti's car to Hanko, so that he could drive the Hinkki boat from Utö to Hanko. Eero would jump into my car I we drove to Kuplakammio to unload.
The camp had some trouble, mainly due to the weather and Coltri compressor breaking, but otherwise it was all good.
