3rd dive of the trip.
On Thursday morning the plan was to dive Balder. Only two teams dived it, because it was very deep at 65 m. I decided not to dive either, because I didn’t have strong enough Trimix with me. I had had TMX 20/30 in my D12 tanks, but for my taste that is not suitable for 65 m.
For the afternoon the plan was to dive the nearby Sanny or Necati Pehlivan II at Lågskär shallows. Problem is that we did not have good coordinates to this wreck, and the area was dangerous to navigate with Orbiit. We had found this wreck once 2 years ago, but we could record the exact coordinates.
The intent was to find the wreck by search diving. Many did try, but nobody found it, and so this was a “bio” dive. Visibility here was pretty good and the bottom of the sea really beautiful. But we, nor anyone else found the wreck.
The wreck of Helge would have been pretty near, but the weather forecast indicated that wind was going to pick up. It was decided that due to wind Updated 2025-11-23 Place was Norra Kalvskär
