6th dive of the trip.
Early morning wakeup on Saturday, Orbiit was heading north to the site of Gävle near Märket lighthouse. Me and Rupert went diving it, and the visibility this time was average for this site, maybe 10 m. I had dived here before in amazing +20 m viz, so was slightly disappointed. It is one of my favourites in Åland. Despite of the less than ideal viz I did get pretty good photos anyway.
Gävle was a Swedish sea research ship that sank 10 January 1975 when crashing against rocks during storm. The steel hull is in good condition, and it is an interesting dive site, usually very good visibility. Max depth 27 m at the front, on average only 20 m.
After the dive some lunch and Orbiit started sailing to Belliver.
