Afternoon and evening trip of diving club Kupla with our boat Hinkki.
Original plan on this day was to dive Klaus Oldendorf wreck, but eventually we decided to do Coolaroo instead. We were 6 divers this time: me, Ulla, Juho, Markus, Santtu, Esa. I was the designated captain of Hinkki boat.
We left the about at scheduled time at 15:00 and I was driving the boat. We reached Coolaroo in nice weather at 15:50, and attached the boat to the buoy. Then me and Markus went diving first with 65 minute plan. I had air in my D10 tanks.
At the bow section wreck visibility was unusually good, so we explored the wreck carefully, and I took again photos with my Olympus TG-5. After half hour we then headed along the upper line towards the engine block, which Markus had not seen before. Then the plan was to head back, but somehow we missed the line and ended up somewhere west of the boat. So agreed time running out, we had to ascend using SMB. Then swim at the surface back to the boat. Then the last pair went to water. After they returned, we headed back to shore around 19. Refueling at Skiffer, but again the queue for pizza was over and hour long, so we decided to go back to home harbor. This was a nice quick evening trip without any incidents.
We fueled 44 liters, 72.73€ /6= 12.13 € per diver.
